The Global-Hackathon-Tokyo takes place at Atmosphere and Ocean Research Institute, The University of Tokyo.

Opens: May 12 (Mon) 12:00 at 2F the Auditorium of the AORI building.

 

There is no registration fee. We may ask for a contribution toward the cost of drinks.

Meals

 

We plan to provide light meals (lunch and dinner) and snacks (morning) during the hackathon.

Inaho Ramen: About a 20-minute walk from the AORI building. Known for Goma (sesame) ramen and more.

Ippudo: Located in the food court on the 3rd floor of LaLaport. Specializes in tonkotsu (pork bone broth) ramen.

Chohachi: Near Hatsuishi Station on the Tobu Noda Line.

Machida Shoten: A type of iekei (家系Yokohama-style) ramen, but not the classic variety. Located near Kashiwa Interchange along Route 16.

Ramen Jiro (Kashiwa branch): A heavy-style Jiro-kei ramen, a rival to iekei in popularity. The Kashiwa branch also serves dipping noodles (tsukemen).

Ramen Yamaokaya: Light tonkotsu ramen with a unique, addictive flavor.

Ichiran: globally famous for solo-booth tonkotsu ramen.

Men-Oh: typically known for affordable, student-friendly ramen.
